Portraits
The objective is to display the likeness, personality, and even the mood of the subject.
The subject can be a person, a small group of people, or animals, in which the face
and expression is predominant.

Depth Of Field
These are my depth of field photographs. I used a low f:3 setting on my camera in order to aquire a softened background.
The foreground remains in focus.
However, in the image with the daisy the middle ground is in focus and you can see each bladeof grass. This is interesting as i normally see images that have the background or foreground in focus.

This is my photograph of poppy fields. The image is extremely focused and in detail.
The greens contrast well with the red.
The background is blurred and out of focus. The most detailed part of the image is the fern
and stems. The poppies are in 2/3 of the image.

MACRO
Here are some macro images that i have taken.Macro is the art of taking close-up pictures that reveal details which can’t be seen with the naked eye. For example, while we can see the grasshopper on the wall, our eyes aren’t equipped to make out the fine details of the hairs on it’s face. This is where macro photography comes in. It gives us a glimpse into the world of the very small, which goes largely unnoticed by us as we hurridly shuffle through our day. This image is not the most successful because i could have used a 2:1 lens to really magnify and get up close to the subject.
High Speed Flash
Hisg-speed photography is the since of taking pictures of very fast phenomena.
In common usage, high-speed photography may refer to either or both of the following meanings.
The first is that the photograph itself may be taken in a way as to appear to freeze the motion,
especially to reduce motion blur. The second is that a series of photographs may be taken at a
high sampling frequency or frame rate.

Lighting
Lighting is the most important aspect of any photograph. Cameras, lenses, and everything else are completely irrelevant unless you have good enough light to make a good photo.
The basic camera controls (film speed, shutter speet, and aperture) all work to modify the amount of light entering the camera or how quickly that light is recorded.

Light Drawing
Light painting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light. A variety of light sources can be used, ranging from simple torches to candles, matches, sparklers or lighters. Light painting requires a slow shutter speed, usually a second or more. Light painting usually looks like a quick sketch. A tripod is usually necessary due to the long exposure times other alternatives, like a table. A remote or self-timer is generally necessary minimize camera shake. Light Painting Photography can be traced back to the year 1914 when Frank Gilbreth, along with his wife Lillian Moller Gilbreth, used small lights and the open shutter of a camera to track the motion of
